Posted Tuesday, 7/16/2013 by PPNSteve

Duel simulator card game containing 5,500+ cards to ship this winter in Japan

Our friends over at Anime News Network have a report that the September issue of Shueisha's V Jump magazine is revealing that Konami is developing a new Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal video game for the Nintendo 3DS handheld console. Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal Gekitotsu! Duel Carnival Japanese announcement

Titled Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal Gekitotsu! Duel Carnival the game is designed to provide a genuine dueling experience similar to the original Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game.

This competitive card game will include at least 5,500 cards that players can use to construct their decks to duel. The cards will include monsters from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal anime and the latest powerful cards.

Players will be able to choose one of more than 40 characters from Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal to play as the protagonist, and each protagonist will have a story for players to advance through.

The game is expected to drop in Japan this winter. No US release date given.

Everything else is finally only details -- significant details, but variations on this theme. index.php is the control, the menu method determins what the "existing page" is, and lots of events get fired in the act of building that page. Plugin modules can hook in to those events and modify the workflow/provide additional information/etc. That is also a part of the reason a lot of Drupal resources center on making modules. Without modules, Drupal does maybe not really DO anything other than say, 'Somebody asked to get a page! Does this exist? No? OK, I will serve up a 404.'
