The next Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series event will take place in Sacramento, CA on August 17th- 18th, 2024!

Get ready to duel, trade, and compete at the most exciting Yu-Gi-Oh! event of the year – the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series (YCS) 2024 in Sacramento, California. This two-day event will take place on August 17-18, 2024 at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center and will bring together all Yu-Gi-Oh! fans for a weekend full of fun, thrilling competition, and exclusive prizes.

If you’re a Yu-Gi-Oh! fan, then this is a must-attend event. Duelists from all over the world will gather at the YCS to compete for exclusive prizes, earn invites to their next World Championship Qualifier, and spend the weekend with fellow Yu-Gi-Oh! enthusiasts. This is your chance to showcase your skills, meet new friends, and experience the excitement and camaraderie of the Yu-Gi-Oh! community.

The YCS is not just about the main Championship Series tournament, there are also other Public Events such as Win-A-Mat, Speed Duel, Attack of the Giant Card!!, and Regional Qualifier tournaments. Whether you’re a competitive player or a casual one, there is something for everyone to enjoy at the YCS weekend event. So, grab your decks and get ready to experience the ultimate Yu-Gi-Oh! showdown.

The main Championship Series tournament will be a two-day event using Advanced Constructed Decks in the Swiss format. Duelists will play best 2 out of 3 matches in Swiss rounds followed by a single-elimination playoff top cut. The number of rounds will depend on the total number of registered Duelists on the day of the event, with a time limit of 45 minutes per Swiss round. This format will test your strategic thinking, quick decision making, and adaptability as a duelist.

Participation in the YCS requires a $25.00 USD entry fee, which includes five (5) booster packs and registration for the event. This is the equivalent of five (5) booster packs in the local currency, including taxes and fees. Duelists are not required to submit their deck lists upon registration, but they must create them on their account and attach them to their YCS entry by 10:00 AM PT on Friday, August 16, 2024. For those who pre-register for the YCS and submit their deck list by the deadline, there will be a special bonus – a random Pre-Registration Coin (while supplies last).

The prizes for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series:

If attendance is 2049 Duelists or more, Duelists who rank 33^rd to 64^th will also receive a Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series Top Cut Game Mat, an invite to the next World Championship Qualifier tournament, and World Qualifying Points.

**In addition to the prizes for 1^st place the winner will receive complimentary travel and accommodations to the next World Championship Qualifier in their territory. (North America and Latin America only).
