This last weekend, Aug 17 – 18, 2024, Konami and the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG held the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series Sacramento event at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center, in downtown Sacramento, CA.

915 Duelists have gathered here looking to kick off the 2025 season with a YCS victory! YCS Sacramento Duelists are here for more than just next year’s qualifications – they’re also playing for the brand new Prize Card, Anotherverse Solaria! Solaria is also featured on the newest Top Cut Game Mat.

This is Jesse’s sixth YCS Championship, in addition to being the Undisputed UDS Champion and a multi-time World Championship competitor.

This weekend Jessie piloted his Fiendsmith Snake-Eye Deck to yet another title, and our congratulations go out to him, and all of the accomplished Duelists here at the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series!

Public Events Random Playoff Winner

Over the weekend, players that participated in Public Events have the opportunity to be randomly drawn and selected to compete for the chance to win a Super Rare Anotherverse Solaria, the brand new YCS Prize Card.

Chris Cunningham also won the elusive Rescue Rabbit plushie! It was awarded to a player that completed the Konami survey made available to players here at YCS Sacramento. Luck was definitely on his side this weekend.

Public Events Points Playoff Winner

Playing in and playing well in Public Events will earn you Public Events Points, and the four Duelists with the most points from the weekend get to play for a shot at a Super Rare Anotherverse Solaria!

YCS Sacramento Charity Event Winner

The Yu-Gi-Oh! Charity Event is a special Public Event in which all of the money collected is donated to Red Cross International. Duelists who participate can win a ton of OTS Packs, as well as tickets for the Prize Wall! Here, we have the winner from Sunday’s Charity Event:

The Undefeated Oversized Anotherverse Solaria Winner

The Swiss rounds are over here at YCS Sacramento, and the Top 32 matches have began.. However, Konami still had a bonus prize to give out for the Main Event!

If a Duelist manages to go undefeated for the entirety of the Swiss rounds, they are rewarded with an oversized version of the current YCS prize card. In this case, it’s the brand new Anotherverse Solaria!
