YuGiOh - Games - DDS - Walkthrough

Okay You'll start off in Tomino Town 1, with a very basic deck. You can modify it later, when you have more Deck Capacity points, and a higher Duelist Level. In order to move on to Tomino Town 2, defeat each duelist 5 times. Here's the order in which you should duel.

  • Tristan (Top Left)
  • Joey (Top Right)
  • Yugi (Left)
  • Mako (Bottom)
  • Mai (Right)

This is the easiest order, you shouldn't fight Mai until you've beaten all of the other duelists 5 times. Why? Because Mai has very good cards, like her Harpie Lady. It's mighty strong in this point of the game, but you'll defeat her eventually. Tristan is really easy, he doesn't do anything, and don't believe him saying he'll give you rare cards. It's only like a 5% - 10% chance he will give you an arm for Exodia, but Exodia's pathetic in this game. He's a total wipeout, just defeat the weak duelist and move on. Now it's Joey, he's not all that tough, but once he pulls out his Flame Swordsman or his Red Eyes Black Dragon, it's basically over, unless you can counter him with the Elements. Use an Aqua Type card to get rid of his Flame Swordsman, and a Light Type card to get rid of his REBD. Once you've defeated him 5 times, it's time for Yugi. Don't underestimate his Light Form, the form in which he doesn't use the Millenium Puzzle. He's kind of hard, if he brings out his Dark Magician. Just use a Dream Type card to counter it. I lost to him 3 times out of 17 battles! For Mako, he specializes in Aqua Type cards. Try to get a Thunder Type card into your deck, it doesn't matter for it's ATK/DFD Pts. Just get a Thunder Type to whack his Aqua Types. He has a couple of non-Aqua Type cards, but I'm sure he'll lose to your regular cards. Now it's time for Mai. Sure, her looks can be kind of nice, for a pixelated character, but her attacks aren't. She can pull out her Harpie Lady, Harpie Lady Sisters, and her Harpie's Pet Dragon. If she can pull any one of these bad ass cards, you're toast, unless you send a Forest Card to counter her Harpy Lady/Harpy Lady Sister. I think you use a Light Card to destroy the Harpie's Pet Dragon. After you're done with this city, it's the hard part if you haven't constructed a new deck, or used any Card Codes. Keep dueling these guys until you get many cards and a high Deck Capacity around 800-900.

Now once you're in Tomino Town 2, you'll see very good duelists. It took a while to beat these guys but you should be alright.

  • Rex Raptor (Top Middle)
  • ESP Roba (Top Left)
  • Weevil (Top Right)
  • Seeker (Bottom Left)
  • Kaiba (Bottom Right)
  • Pandora (Bottom Middle)

Yeah, you might think that Kaiba would be the hardest, but he's not. He can't pull his BEWD out fast enough for you to cream him. Otherwise, he should be sort of easy. Now duel Rex Raptor. He's the easiest for me, as I only lost once to him. Try to get some strong cards out real fast, because if he powers up his Two-Headed King Rex with the Wasteland, and some magic cards, he'll have almost more ATK Pts. than Yugi's Dark Magician! Finish the loser, and head for ESP Roba. She's weak, just play regular, with using a couple of trap cards to smash her. Weevil was hard. Hard I tell ya! When he pulls out his Great Moth (or whatever it's called.) you're toast. It's as powerful as Kaiba's BEWD! Use Fire cards to light his day up, and use some magic cards to help out. Seeker was just PATHETIC. He has a lot of Rare-High-Starred-Cards, but he doesn't focus on one thing. He almost never gets his Rare Cards out, because it's too jam packed with them, and too little of the non-sacrifice cards. Defeat him and go for Kaiba. Whew, Kaiba was almost a killer, if he could pull out just ONE of his THREE BEWD, you're toast unless you counter with a Shadow Type card. If you can destroy his BEWD, then it's over. Beware of his Judge Mann (Light) and some of his other cards. They have an extremely high attack power. Pandora... I lost to him 3-4 times, and I had almost 1000 Capacity Pts.! I believe he specializes in Shadow-Type cards, so use a Dream Card like the Time Wizard. Keep fighting these guys, they are not even a match for the next set of duelists! Good Luck!

That took a while, and now you're in Ancient Egypt. These Duelists are extremely HARD! I've got over 1300 Capacity Pts., and they are still whooping my butt! Take it easy, I haven't beaten these guys yet, but here is a list of who I think you should duel first. It's not 100% correct, because I haven't really dueled these guys, but don't worry.
Okay, now I've defeated Ishizu 5 times, and P.Seto 5 times. (P.Seto = 15 Battles and 5 wins, so... ouch... 10 losses! I lost to Ishizu 3 times.)

  • Ishizu
  • P. Seto
  • Slysheen
  • Paradox

No strategies yet, but try your hardest to defeat these evil duelists. Try fighting some more in Tomino Town 2 for a good Deck Capacity Boost. I had a duelist level of 255 (Maximum) when I reached here.

They are really hard, Ishizu uses about 95% female cards, but she whoops @$$! I believe she uses a lot of light, so dish out some Shadow-Type cards to crush her. For P. Seto, I just kept fighting. He was totally annoying, with his "Change of Heart" or his "Raigeki". Just start throwing bad attack to him, like Jirai Gumo, Dark Elf, or when you get into sacrifices, go for Weevil's Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth. It has 4500 ATK PTS., and if you use Forest, and the Lazer Cannon Armor... wow... 5200 ATK PTS!? Good luck!

Oh yeah! I've defeated these fools 5 times each! Now it's time to duel the master duelis... damn... it's DarkNite...

DarkNite, possibly the most hardest duelist you're assuming? Not really, but he's good. I defeated him in my first try, and I was going to on my second one, but my dumb brother punched me, and I dropped my Gameboy... God I hate that! Well, I'll add some strategies once I've defeated him 5 times.

Once you've completed the game, you can duel the master duelists. WONDER FULL JOB!
